Recovery.gov has posted new data from recipients of contracts, grants and loans for the quarter ending Dec. 31, showing the public exactly where stimulus money is going. The data includes about 160,000 prime and sub-recipient award reports. It is part of President Obama's continuing pledge of transparency.
Recovery.gov has added a job search feature, giving job seekers ways to find available jobs in the public and private sectors.
On the left-hand side of the site's homepage, users will be able to enter the type of job and location in a search box under a heading "Find Recovery Jobs." They'll be directed to links of recipient websites that have information on Recovery jobs.
The site includes a number of new features as well, including an advanced search function to enable a more specific analysis of recipient data. There will be new funding charts and a "Map Central" landing page that will give visitors data as it relates to funding, unemployment and diversity.
